Voila, on vient juste de recevoir la news et cette jolie photo de Matt ! Matt vient de signer avec Attica Wetsuits. On n’a jamais entendu parlé de cette marque avant et leur site internet ne présente pas leur collection ni même des infos sur la marque donc il va nous être difficile d’en savoir plus… cela dit on doit interviewer Matt très bientot donc on va vous tenir au jus dans peu de temps !

Attica Wetsuits welcomes Matt Lackey as our 1st official rider to sign with the label. Attica is a culmination of 2 ½ years of testing cuts and materials before its release May 2010. Attica’s vision is a dark edge combined with bold logos, solid colours, epic cuts and durable quality materials. This is what will set us apart and add strength to our product.

Matt quitte son sponsor principal après 7 ans avec eux. Une offre lui a été faite pour 2010 mais il a préféré la décliner. Il nous informe qu’il vient de signer avec une marque de combinaisons 100% bodyboard et se lance donc dans une nouvelle aventure. On vous tient au jus dès qu’on en sait plus !
“As of today I am no longer riding for Billabong.
After representing the label for 7 years an offer was on the table for 2010 however I have decided to walk away from my relationship with the surfing giant.
Instead I will head in a new direction. This direction is with a new bodyboarding wetsuit label, and this decision will allow me to ride for a company with an artistic and creative vision with a high quality product that I believe will become a benchmark in the industry.
An official announcement on this label will be made in weeks to come”.

La marque Australienne FLIPMODE vient d’annoncer qu’elle intégrait désormais le jeune tueur Australien (et local de Port Macquarie) Jones Russell !
Vous vous souvenez certainement des exploits de Jones dans JOKER 2 ! Le gamin chargeait déjà comme un malade. Vous devriez voir Jones maintenant avec encore plus de technique et de style ! Il vient de partir à Hawaii pour cet hiver et suivra en 2010 le tour Australien complet.

Le jeune Australien Lewy Finnegan vient de signer chez Pride Bodyboards. Il rejoint notamment Cade Sharp, Sam Bennett, Mitch Woodland, Ben Veitch, Nick Perry, Shaun Pyne et Jimmy Williamson dans le team Pride en Australie.
Mitch Rawlins vient de lancer son propre site web. Joli, classieux, avec pas mal de trucs à voir: Mitchrawlins.com
Spencer Skipper rejoint le team MANTA ! La rumeur est donc vérifiée, chez LMNOP ça n’allait pas, il semble que la marque soit définitivement morte (voir l’interview de Spencer sur Movementmag.com) et Skipper cherchait donc un nouveau sponsor. C’est donc chez MANTA qu’il atterrit (son sponsor précédent) et apparemment ça va bien pour Skipper qui déclare pouvoir à nouveau voyager et donc scorer des bonnes vagues. Il va nous faire plaisir avec son style de fou et sa glisse insensée !

Spencer Skipper Joins the Manta Pro Team
Manta is happy to announce their latest signing of Hawaiian Spencer Skipper. Skipper has been long regarded as one most stylish riders in the business and seemed pretty stoked about the new deal. “I’m stoked on the new deal. It gives me the chance to travel and do what I love doing best. I’ll be hanging on the North Shore for the Hawaiian winter and plan on surfing Pipe as much as possible. Then heading down to Oz for there winter to do some team trips with the boys.”
Reon Fisher Manta’s team manager commented. “It’s cool; Skip has always been one of my favorite riders. He has that really unique style of riding that I don’t think anyone else can really mimic. I’m looking forward to getting some good shots of him from the Hawaiian season and getting him out here for the Aussie winter.”
