Parkway Drive is touring in europe and we were lucky to watch ‘em play live yesterday night in Paris, France. We took a little trip to Paris with a bunch of friends and enjoyed a nice hardcore show with heaps of bands. Parkway Drive was definitely the stand out band, they played 8 songs, mostly from their previous album. Freaking awesome live show. Check a few pictures we shot and a small video from yesterday night. You must have heard ‘em in recent bbing videos.

Hey hey hey! Sorry for lagging, we’re currently developping some new stuff and got too busy developping instead of delivering fresh news here. We just heard that AGENT 18 was hitting the stores very very soon in Oz with a shitload of nice suits for Aussies out there. Check their new catalog here and start frothing! Other than that we eventually got our hands on the latest INSERT NAME HERE teaser and made it available for download here on the Media page as well as the Movement Mag 19 teaser. Yeah, i know you’ve seen them on You”crappy”tube but the quality was bad and you couldn’t download them right ? So for those who asked us, yep go to the Media page and control-click / right-click on any video link you want to get the teaser – save target as…
For those who subscribe to the Spongercity Podcast the INSERT NAME HERE teaser will be available tomorrow. Anyway the downloadable version on the media page is iPod compatible so knock yourselves out and upload it manually on your iPod if you cant wait anymore.
The DECADE video review is coming super soon. For now all i gotta say is that the video was good, with good hardy stuff, dre & ross, hawaii, massive chopes, cool music, good editing… and awesome skipper stuff. Oh yeah, i gotta say it twice, skipper section rocks.

Movement Mag is having a Grom Trip coming (in issue 21) and you’re now able to vote for the groms who you think should go on a trip. Ten snotty-nosed kids from Australia plead their case for magazine fame via Youtube clips made by grom producer Cam Danzey. Go there now and rate high (five stars) for the five you want to see on the Grom Trip in Movement mag 21. There’s two weeks to rate the pesky little brats and it’s game over for the lowest five.

Mmmh, actually no, it’s not OK. Once again some smart ass bodyboarder thought it was all good to steal and copy from Spongercity. This time it’s a south-american online mag that got the sweet idea to copy our graphics and template. Specially the one that you can see here on the Spongercity Interviews or Pictures page. Oh yeah, you liked it so much you fucken did the same.
Oh and we were also surprised to see that your News slogan is very original: “FRESH NEWS, We deliver Daily…” oh wait, i reckon this is what’s freakin’ written at the top of this page uh ? What the fuck were you thinking ? that no one would notice ? Nah. We cant believe you did it.
We spent hours coding and designing Spongercity and dont appreciate it very much when some loser copies and steals to create his own un-original website. Specially because the bodyboarding industry is so small that the chance to get busted when you do this is very high… This is total disrespect to other’s people work.
So you, yes, you who have stolen some shit from Spongercity.com: take ‘em off your site before we ask your hoster to do it for you.
Just to let you know, Spongercity is a trade mark, with official CopyRight registration and all texts, designs and code have been copyrighted properly and were designed and coded for this website only with our own hands. From A to Z.
If you lack of creativity, just don’t do anything and dont copy it’s better that way.

David Child is releasing AUSTRALIAN MADE II this month and as David said, it’s gonna be packed with “unseen quality Australian gold”. David is also releasing a HOW TO dvd, featuring coaching by riders such as Ryan Hardy & Nick Ormerod. The film is aimed to appeal to all riders from first timers to the intermediate and advanced. Covering everything from buying your first board, wave knowledge, stretching to spins, back flips and perfecting you style. Release date is Nov the 12th.
The FACES dvd is now available by the way. Heaps of DVD reviews are coming on Spongercity.com with the DECADE review and a shitload of aussie vids.
