Stop the massacre: take your board(s) outta your car and keep it with you, it will be less hot, wherever you are than it is inside the car. Note that direct sun heat is the worse thing ever. Always put a towel or something over the board. In the summer avoid riding dark-colored boards, the foam will get hotter faster. (Black boards, Navy boards…). Yes, all the pros have black boards and even on their trips to puerto escondido and indo they ride black boards but unlike you they dont pay for their boards. Ha ! White, light blue and yellow boards (or any light color) are the way to go for long-lasting summer boards.
