We confirm: the new site is cool, classy, easy to navigate and well designed by the guys at Invert Design. oh and there’s cool stuff to see / watch / read on his site! Well done Mitch!

3 clips worth watching this Sunday on Vimeo (or Monday morning at work with your 10am coffee maybe ?)Vimeo:
1- Time to Go in the SEA! by Allan Wilson. Amazing footage, colors and light. HD is the shit. oh yeah.
2- Ben Player by Rob Sherwood. Maybe we posted this one before? It’s good to watch anyway!
3- 3:40hrs of separation//Mitch Woodland by Mitch Woodland. Edited by Mitch himself. Cool little clip. Mitch edits and posts quite regularly on his blog and it’s pretty cool. (PS: Click the DESINTERLACE option when you compress your edited footage Mitch, it will get rid of the horizontal lines on the footage once compressed)
Have you noticed how Vimeo is now the way to go when bodyboarders post vids online ? It was high time! Youtube sucks big time when it comes to video compression, web design & ergonomy and the loading time is a nightmare on Youtube. Thanx Vimeo!

That’s right, LeBoogie Magazine just launched a cool iPhone/iPod Touch app to buy & flick thru the magazine pages for each issue. Good stuff! Issue 1 is free to download. Issue 2 which was just released a few days ago (paper edition) is a just a couple dollars to download in its digital version. We tested it and it works like a charm!
Read more about the App here on the LeBoogie website.

Spencer Skipper joins MANTA ! The rumor was actually true. The LMNOP boat wasn’t floating too good appearently (see Spencer Interview on Movementmag.com a couple weeks ago) and Spencer needed a new sponsor. Good for him, the folks at MANTA are now supporting Spencer. Such a stylish and talented rider couldn’t be left out there with no sponsors. Spencer is seriously one of the most stylish rider ever. Give the guy some $$$ and send him on trips, we wanna see some good riding and stylish moves from Spencer ASAP !!!
Pictures of Skipper from the MANTA HQ: Picture 1, Picture 2 and Picture 3 !
Here’s the official release about the sponsorship by the way:
Spencer Skipper Joins the Manta Pro Team
Manta is happy to announce their latest signing of Hawaiian Spencer Skipper. Skipper has been long regarded as one most stylish riders in the business and seemed pretty stoked about the new deal. “I’m stoked on the new deal. It gives me the chance to travel and do what I love doing best. I’ll be hanging on the North Shore for the Hawaiian winter and plan on surfing Pipe as much as possible. Then heading down to Oz for there winter to do some team trips with the boys.”
Reon Fisher Manta’s team manager commented. “It’s cool; Skip has always been one of my favorite riders. He has that really unique style of riding that I don’t think anyone else can really mimic. I’m looking forward to getting some good shots of him from the Hawaiian season and getting him out here for the Aussie winter.”
Keep an eye out for the Manta Skipper pro model out in 2010.
