Mitch Rawlins has long been touted as one of the sports most influential riders and greatest visionaries across the bodyboard- ing spectrum. Leading the technical savvy generation with high intensity power surfing and style to boot! Mitch’s creative process has taken a quantum leap forward over the past 3 years with his highly anticipated film “Hiding From Comfort” set for release in collaboration upon a cover mounted Riptide issue 182, June 2011.
The film boasts unquestionably some of the greatest images ever captured in the surfing World, a project that has seen trials and tribulations, countless hours of preparation to create some amazing shots.
With the film completion, and fresh from a victory in perfect waves for the Arica Chillean Challenge trials, comes the release of the all new foundboards.com website, an ongoing development process that delves a little deeper into the creation of the sports newest board company. Inside you will find the hottest young team in bodyboarding, representing the Found label for their individual talents and creativity tearing all across the country. Mitch explains “We created a site that showcases the company for what it is, a brand that is focussed on the future of bodyboarding with multiple projects that lets our customers feel part of the Found family. It’s all about bodyboarding really, and we want to share our experiences with our fans”.
