Been a while since we last had a good ol’ industry news post! We’ve written up a little recap of what’s going on lately:
- FOUND Boards revamped their website and it’s really well done with attention to details, good pictures, good tech features about the boards, the Rawlins pro model, loads of cool boards and last but not least the dimensions on the boards ! Thanks FOUND for this. Every single board brand in the industry should give the dimensions of their boards, it’s crucial when buying a new board and helps a lot with choices.

- There’s a cool Board Guide here on the Riptide website for all 2012/13 boards your can froth on. New for this year is the use of lower density PP core for a lot of brands. The quality of the PE cores was getting worse the last few years and the new lower density PP offers a flexier board than traditionnal 1.9 PP with good pop (more than PE). We’ve also spotted a cool new “torsion” system on the Found boards which seems interesting.

With the recent signing of James Kates to the team is was only a matter of time before bodyboarding accessories company Soyroll™ got noticed and well noticed, so we decided to introduce you to the brand. Once in a while there’s a brand that pops out of the blue and actually has something different and cool to offer, we believe this one does.
